OUR STORY

Our journey began with what was supposed to be a simple movie night but turned into an eye-opening experience. We headed to the grocery store, hoping to pick out some snacks, but soon found ourselves frustrated. Only one of us is lactose intolerant, and our options were limited—settling for Oreos wasn’t what we had in mind. We craved indulgent desserts like cookies and ice cream made with real dairy, but nearly everything on the shelves came with compromises.

That night sparked an idea. After some research, we discovered that lactose intolerance affects nearly 30% of the U.S. population and an astonishing 70% of people worldwide, disproportionately impacting communities of color. We realized there was a significant need for treats that didn’t sacrifice flavor or the comfort that dairy provides, but were also lactose-free.

We founded our cookie company with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between the indulgent dairy world and the lactose-intolerant community. Our goal is to create dairy-filled, lactose-free treats that don’t just meet expectations but exceed them. We believe everyone deserves to enjoy the rich, authentic flavors of dairy without discomfort, so we set out to craft cookies that deliver on taste, texture, and satisfaction.

HOW WE DO IT

Lactose is a natural sugar found in dairy, but it can be difficult for some to digest because their bodies don't produce enough lactase, the enzyme that breaks it down. To make sure everyone can enjoy our delicious cookies, we use dairy that has already been treated with lactase, breaking down the lactose into simple sugars—glucose and galactose—making it easier to digest.

We source our milk and butter from trusted suppliers who carefully process their dairy to be lactose-free, so you can enjoy all the creamy, buttery goodness without the discomfort. It's a simple solution to offer a treat that’s kind to your tummy, without sacrificing flavor.

WHO WE ARE

We’re a husband-and-wife team with a deep love for food and baking. The idea for our company was sparked by a personal experience: realizing how few indulgent lactose-free treats were available that maintained the richness of real dairy. Our cookies are unique because we’re the only company offering lactose-free baked treats made with real milk and butter, ensuring all the taste without the discomfort. By using dairy processed with lactase, we create cookies that don’t compromise on flavor or texture.
